Social Events
Our social committee decides on themed events on weekends throughout the summer. Past events have included - Brunches, Wine Tasting, 4th of July Picnic/Ice Cream Social, and Seafood Night. There are also informal gatherings on the porch after racing. Impromptu events occasionally happen in the evenings when no events are scheduled. Attending events is voluntary but members are encouraged to participate
Members Favorites
Corn Roast – Fresh, locally grown corn is grilled on an outdoor fire-pit and combined with homemade dishes provided by members and guests, making it a truly special and tasty event.

Pig Roast – A pig is roasted on an outdoor spit over the fire-pit, and homemade dishes are provided by members and guests, providing for a truly special evening for everyone.
Commodores Reception – A combined event with Deep Creek Lake Sailing Association, it is to celebrate the hard work of the Commodores from both clubs. There is dinner & music and is a great way to celebrate the end of the summer season.
